To our patients and neighbors in Weston and the surrounding counties,
Since the flood, our Weston team has been caring for you at our White Oaks office in Bridgeport. We know those months asked a lot of you: new routines, a longer trip and a lot of uncertainty. You met all of it with patience and kindness, and we are deeply grateful.
We wanted very much to come home to Weston. After carefully considering what it would take to reopen, our board has made the difficult decision to close the Weston office permanently and continue your care at White Oaks. Although the building is being restored, much of the equipment we rely on to care for you was lost in the flood.
We know that for many of you this means a longer drive, and that is not a small thing. It weighed heavily on us, and we did not make this decision lightly.
What matters most has not changed. You will see the same doctors who know you and your history. Your records are already at White Oaks, so there is nothing you need to do. Our Weston staff have been offered positions there as well. We will reach out to you personally about your appointments, and if you have a question or concern in the meantime, please call us. We are here for you.
The Weston office has been part of this community for years, and it has meant a great deal to us to be your neighbors. Thank you for trusting us with your eyes and with the care of your families. It is a privilege we do not take for granted, and we look forward to welcoming you at White Oaks.
